Hydrangea (peruviana x serratifolia)

A curious hybrid climbing Hydrangea. H. peruviana has red flowers but probably isn't very hardy, this hybrid may be on the borderline in my garden.
I have planted it beneath a large Leyland Cypress in the hope that it will be a suitable host and offer some protection. If it doesn't survive here it grows too big to keep
in the greenhouse so I have my finger crossed.
