Hydrangea aspera 'Hot Chocolate'

A new selection of Hydrangea aspera with reddish coloration in the new growth. I first saw it as a large
with a rather upright habit. The late summer sun was shining through the leaves and the whole thing glowed
with scarlet light. It was magnificent.
My young plant had been a little more mundane but I have hopes. It seems to be a little difficult as a young plant.
