Hydrangea macrophylla 'Bela'

A new seedling Hydrangea raised by Peter Hempel in Bilderbeck, Germany and patented in 2005. It was raised as
an improved blue with a reduced requirement for a winter chill to promote flowering (useful in the production of flowering
pot plants).
In the garden it has produced good strong blue flowers on a compact shrub.
