Hydrangea macrophylla 'Elbtal'

A recent cultivar with deep blue florets that have notched margins. Introduced in 1952 as a repeat flowering cultivar, the first flowers are followed by a second
flush in autumn that may continue until the first frosts. The young flowers are greenish in the centre,
turning blue as they expand fully.
