Ilex aquifolium 'Aureomarginatum'
29th March 2009
I had a bit of a thing for hollies when I moved into this garden, and some of them have grown into great beauties (and some of them have departed).
unfortunately, they have recently become trendy, and that is probably bad news. Garden centres will be filled with the shrieking midgets
that will never grow into trees, and if they did, would sit on the landscape like suppurating boils. Fortunately the good ones will remain good and
you will still have to be patient.
This one has developed a talent for catching the evening sunlight which is most satisfactory.
