A perennial species from Texas with pale lilac-blue flowers. I am assured that it will be hardy, I am not yet convinced.

It has one well in a pot in the greenhouse. I was surprised at hopw manageable it has been, I was expecting yards and yards of stringy growth but in the event
it has been moderately compact. The fliowers caught me by surprise at the end of summer, opening in the morning and starting to close before I could get to them with a camera.
This picture is the best I could manage. I think it has set seed without requiring any assistance from me.
