A rather flat colour, mauve with white. If the yellow marks in the throat were larger it would be rather commonplace, but as it is there is a pleasant flatness about the effect
like accurate arithmetic. No fireworks and no romance, but a certain mechanical satisfaction that I suspect can also be obtained from Crown green bowling.
