Jasminum beesianum
4th June 2016
A strange climbing shrub from Szechuan and Yunnan introduced by Forrest in 1906.
I have had it for so long that I can't remember where it came from. At some stage I stood a young potted plant beside the greenhouse door and now it weaves its way through the cracks in the structure
and leans out over the doorway. The red flowers are produced sparsely but to great effect.
