Kadsura japonica 'Variegated'
14th June 2014
A climber from China and Japan with broad evergreen leaves. It isn't particularly hardy although I think the green leaved form should survive here growing into a suitably protective tree.
I am less certain about the variegated form so I have planted it in the Hedychium house to scramble up the internal structure. It has sported to produce a green shoot so I may get to try
it outside eventually.
