Lavendula stoechas 'Lilac Wings'

I think it is fair to say that Lavender does not do well in Cornwall. I have a friend who struggles with a
ragged sprig of 'Vera' but you would hardly call it a perfumed delight for a summer evening.
Despite this gloomy fact, I went ahead and bought this, in the hope that it would grace a raised border for
long enough to entertain me. The shortest summer and the coldest winter for many years ended that little experiment.
