Lepisorus tosaensis
12th December 2006
Another species that has come from China and seems to have adapted to the splendour of my corrugated plastic conservatory!
11th September 2011
It has been growing away quietly in the conservatory for a few years now and now I have to move it to the greenhouse
while I work on some repairs. I took the opportunity to take some photos, and record the spores forming on the underside of the leaf
because I am sure it is detail I will need if I am to check the identification - which I will get around to one of these years.

Tony Avent at Plant Delights Nursery in North Carolina had a plant from the same Chinese source under the same name
which he has keyed out as Neolepisorus fortunei.
