Mahonia eurybracteata
Archive entry 12.10.08
12th October 2008
An evergreen species introduced from China in the last few decades. Elegant narrow leaflets that add an interesting appearance to the garden,
like viewing through a Venetian blind, or peeling an apple in a single long strip. The yellow flowers are more of an autumn event than a sweet
denizen of winter, where the fat fingers of Mahonia x media hold sway.

Hopefully it is as hardy as the commoner species!
