A strong growing collection of the species from San Louis Obispo, California. I was given a clump from this group growing in a friends garden. I have planted it under the trees at the top of the garden
where it can be as vigorous as it likes. Swines Meadow Farm Nursery say: "False Solomon’s Seal. A clump-forming perennial with veined mid-green leaves. starry creamy white flowers in spring followed by very attractive patterned berries. Max Height 60cm. Max Spread 60cm. Flowers April to May. Fruits June. Shaded site. Hardy. One of our favorites. Collected by Kevin Hughes in California." |
