Narcissus bulbocodium 'Arctic Bells'

I bought the bulbs because I had never heard of it which is sometimes the best reason I can
come up with. I think it is new and I am expecting a pale lemon hoop petticoat daffodil.

It has turned out to be a vigorous and distinctive selection with cream-yellow flowers.
17th February 2021
Raised by Walter J. M. Blom in Oregon and registered by J. S.Pennings in 2019. Although is looks like a selection of N. bulbocodium
it is actually a hybrid between that species and N. 'Border Beauty' (raised by Brian Duncan).
