A very distinctive small hybrid. The local fields are full of large yellow daffodils so I only plant things in the garden
that I wouldn't otherwise see. Bred by Grant E Mitsch in the Pacific Northwest of the USA it seems
to be just as happy with me. Registered in 1963, a hybrid between N. 'Binkie' and N.jonquilla.

I first planted 'Pippit' about ten years ago, right outside my front door where I could enjoy it easily.
I grew and enchanted me every year so when developments in the front threatened it I dug it up and moved it
further up into the garden. It had to be moved in growth, so it sulked for a year or so and looked a bit
lonely, so I bought a big bag and planted them beside it. They are a great pleasure.
