Neoregelia 'Flandria'
28th March 2006
There are hundreds of variegated hybrid Neoregelias. They are all excellent plants,
I have never seen a bad one, and they are pretty much all the same, so take your pick. It all started
because Neoregelia carolinae 'Tricolor' produces a proportion of variegated seedlings
regardless of what it is hybridised with. This is one of them.
This is a recent form that has been tissue cultured and for a while it was widely available.

One of the tough ones, it has done well in the conservatory kept just above freezing. Coming up to flower now, but they haven't yet opened.
