Nerine 'Ariadne'

25th September 2021

A beautiful pink cultivar with darker margins to the tepals. There is some uncertainty about the name, It was first listed in the Barrs catalogue for 1917 and it is now grown in the Exbury Nerine collection however it is not clear that the two plants are the same.
Pater Barr's catalogue for 1922 describes it as:

"Ariadne, blush salmon with salmon-red stripe, large flower, good truss, extra fine 10s6d

I can't make up my mind.
