Nerine 'Harlequin'

Archive entry 18.09.11

17th October 2010

A fascinating colour, dark salmon pink with a darker mid stripe. The petals fade to white at the base which illuminates the flower in a wonderful way.
It is an old cultivar but its origin does not seem to be recorded. Norman Haddon grew it at Porlock in 1941, supplied by F. Herbert Chapman in Sussex.
