Nerine 'Highdown Scarlet'

Raised by Sir Frederick Stern at Highdown. The seed parent is recorded as 'Grilse' by Tony Norris, the pollen parent is unknown.
In the Nerine Nursery catalogue for 1974, Norris says:
"This is a fine scarlet flower that is smaller than Corusca but has petals that are proportionally wider."
