Free flowering and close to a pure red. The tepals are strongly recurved at the tips and dusted with gold
in strong light.
Tony Norris described it in his 1974 catalogue:
" The stems run from 14 to 18 inches and carry a head of 8 to 10 very pure Oriental-red florets which are much crinkled and recurved. There is a good dusting of gold."
