Nerine 'Mars'

A hybrid raised by Stanley Smee from a cross between N. sarnienssis corusca 'Major' and N. 'Cardinal'.
In the Nerine Society newsletter for 1967 it is described:
"The flowers of cardinal red, are carried on good stiff stems of 12" to 15". The umbel and individual florets are of excellent shape and medium size."
