Nerine sarniensis var. curvifolia f. fothergillii 'Major'

11th October 2018

Another clone with a confused identity. In his Springbank Nursery catalogue for 2002, Ken Hall says:
"An excellent variety. Award of Merit RHS, 1967. One of the first to flower. 10 to 12 Dutch vermillion florets, stamens protruding stiffly from the recurved petals."

So far so good, but he also says that it flowers a week before N.s.c.fothergillii. Mine flowers decidedly later.
I haven't formed any meaningful conclusion.
