Nerine 'Wombe'

24th October 2015

A bright red selection. Tony Norris said in his 1974 catalogue:
"Another scarlet nerine but this flowers later than the Coruscas and is useful in November for cut flowers. The fourteen to eighteen inch stem carries a head of eight to ten florets. The petals are about one and a half inches long and a quarter of an inch wide with much gold dusting."

Probably raised by R. Hudson from seed sown in 1922.
