Oncidium 'Otter'

I have been trying a few Oncidium in the greenhouse in the hope that they may be tolerant of a bit of frost. I had no luck with O. noezlianum from the high Andes
but I have also tried some un-named hybrids from garden centres. This one came from Otter Nurseries.

I was surprised by the way it resisted damage by a severe radiation frost in December. It might just have been lucky, it might still die, but at present it looks good.
