A charming and very stylish succulent from central Asia. The spring growth looks like a Sempervivum but the centre of the rosette closes into a very dormant resting bud in late summer
and the plant rests until spring weather starts to warm up. Needs to be kept dry in winter ands only flowers if it gets lots of direct sunlight.
