Osmanthus delavayi
8th April 2007
One of the pleasures of clearing the old hedging away has been the opportunity to plant a few evergreens, and this Osmanthus is an old friend that I had somehow failed
to plant in the garden before this one arrived.
Small glossy leaves and clusters of scented white flowers.
A small growing species from western China, first introduced by Abbe Delavayi in 1890.
