Parodia werneri

My plants are of the yellow flowered form, sometimes referred to as P. w. f. flaviflora. It grows in mixed populations
with the purple flowered form in Rio Grande do sul, Brazil where it is seriously endangered by increasing agricultural land use.
The plants usually grow singly, occasionally branching to form small clumps. My tub of plants is made up from a number of seedlings planted together for effect.
