Passiflora 'Imperatrice Eugenie'

A name coined by C.Lemaire in 1858 for the hybrid P.(alata x caerulea) which is more properly called
P. x belotii and was first raised by Pepin in 1849. Supposed to be of easy growth, it has survived the winter here
which is a good start. I will correct the name when I have got used to the idea!
