Pelargonium ionidiflorum

A pretty little species that flowered for a few weeks in summer and then transformed into a pile of scrappy leaves. It it survives in the Agave house it will be welcome, if the winter carries it off I will remember it fondly (but briefly).
The species comes from a small region in the Eastern Cape and is reasonably common. In habitat it flowers throughout the wet summer season. It survives a few degrees of frost during the dry winter. It remains to be seen if it will tolerate moisture at the same time.
