Photinia prionophylla
21st April 2016
A slightly tender species that seems to thrive locally. Makes a tall, rather loose evergreen shrub or small tree, mine is still rather modest but growing well and it hasn't
been affected by cold winters so far. First discovered in Yunnan by the Abbe Delavay in 1888. It has recently been suggested that plants in cultivation are actually P. glomerata.
