Pieris japonica 'Cupido'
27th October 2013
A compact selection with brownish red buds that appear in autumn and persist through the winter, swelling to white
flowers in the spring. It is a good thing.
I have a young plant in a pot in the greenhouse.
It has grown well in the garden and retained a charming compact shape. Raised in the Netherlands from Japanese seed sometime before 1982.
