Pieris japonica 'White Rim'
7th December 2013
A young plant, part of the seasons Pieris buying frenzy.
Slow growing but it will eventually make a reasonable sized bush. I like variegated plants
but I have never seen one that I would describe as beautiful. It makes odd shapes with lots of exposed trunk
looking like a perfect milk pudding that has curdled.
Distinct from the older P. j. 'Variegata', it is slower growing with a broader and better defined creamy white margin to the leaf.
