This splendid little plant flowers throughout the summer. The flowers are curiously scented. It produces tiny bulbils in the centre of the leaves, and can easily be propagated from them.
A small growing species from China, I have tried it outside but have trouble keeping it safe from rank vegetation, so for now it is back in a pot. I have a space under a pine tree where it might be happy and yet free from weedy competition.
