Pinguicula emarginata

2nd September 2007 13th April 2008 2nd May 2008
I was really impressed with this plant, but unfortunately it died in the cold during this winter when temperatures dropped to -5degC.
The species comes from the states of Veracruz and Puebla in Mexico where it has been recorded from vertical sandstone cliffs rising from subtropical vegetation at altitudes of about 1,500m. If kept warm it doesn't have a dormant season but grows your round.
