Pinguicula vulgaris f. bicolor
1981
For many years this was grown at Kew in the Alpine House, where I took this picture in 1981.
The outer lobes of the corolla are much paler lilac than the throat. The flower is also
larger and more open faced than any other form I have grown.
I was given some seed a few years ago, but nothing germinated.
