22nd December 2012
A medium sized species growing at altitudes up to 2900m in Columbia, Ecuador and Peru. The flowers are
large and unexpectedly bright for a Pleurothallis.
This has been the most successful species here, it has flowered for the last three winters. It comes indoors during
mid winter but survives dormancy well.
Certificate of Botanical Recognition from the American Orchid Society which sounds like faint praise.
