This plant has been widely distributed as a form of P. albiflora but it is not. It has been suggested that it is a clone of P. Eiger but I am a bit dubious. My plant is
has large, elegant flowers that appear quite late in the season compared with the short, dumpy, early flowers of all the clones of Eiger that I have met. The third picture shows the form of 'Pinchbeck Diamond' that is thought to be a form of P. Eiger. The situation is confused! |
