Pleione Ueli Wackernagel 'Pearl'

Raised by H. Pinkepank and registered in 1991. A primary hybrid between P. aurita and P. formosana. One of the early P. aurtita
hybrids to be produced. I find that P. aurita struggles in my conditions. This hybrid is slightly stronger but it still has a reputation for unreliability.
The early seedlings came in a range of pinks, from pale to quite dark. P. Ueli Wackernagel 'Pearl' is the on ly one I have seen for several years now.
