A hardy herbaceous plant from Japan, China and Korea. Exotic foliage and heads of white flowers in the summer. I was really pleased to find this at a small nursery during the summer - it is just the sort of thing that will look good in the garden here. I am hoping that it will bulk up quickly. I have since found it very easy to grow from seed, however it needs a very hot summer to grow sufficiently to flower. Even in the greenhouse it struggles to produce good new growth and flowers before the end of summer. |
