Polystichum setiferum 'Proliferum'

12th September 2006 3rd May 2018
My plant is much like the typical form, but the individual pinnules are cut and divided , especially towards the top of the fronds. The name was originally used for forms that increased from bulbils along the stipe in autumn but as most of them reproduce in this way the name is probably redundant.
