A compact small growing form that is more upright, tidier and generally more satisfactory than the
bigger forms. I think this is the form collected by Antoine Hoog in mixed deciduous forest south of Plevja in Serbia in 1986 under the number AH.8642.
Serbia is in the north of the species natural distribution which may account for its shorter stature.
