This striking plant has been in cultivation for a long time, and although it can be slow to divide, it
is now quite freely available. I have always found it best in a pot - when I have planted it out it
always seems to be swamped by its neighbours.
Isolated in a pot, it nearly regains the elegance that usually characterises the genus, despite
the exuberant arrangement of colour. |
