A form distributed by Avon Bulbs that develops golden colours in the leaves as the season progresses. Their catalogue says:
"P. x hybridum 'Welsh Gold' has leaves that in some years turn a dramatic golden yellow if planted in a sunny position, but we are uncertain what causes this.
Slightly smaller than the standard P. x hybridum form."
I have planted it in a sunny position in the herbaceous border, and time will tell if it is vigorous enough to prosper.
I can't see any difference between this and 'Golden Gift'.
