Polygonatum zanlanscianense
11th June 2005
Long arching stems and dangling green striped white flowers.
I have a second plant, directly from China, that looks nothing like this, so the names are
all open to correction.
The type specimen of P. zanlanscianense looks nothing like this one, with berries clustered in the leaf axils. Pictures from Cedric Basset
taken in Sichuan show the berries were preceded by small red-brown flowers.
The identity of this plant, distributed by Chen Yi, remains uncertain.
