Polypodium cambricum 'Barrowii'

An attractive, feathery form that I have just bought from Aberconwy Nursery. Their description says:

"Choice, rare and beautiful polypody from the Lake District in 1874. Thick textured, deeply cut, lacerated, sterile fronds with attractively twisted pinnae. Best in late July through to early spring."

Martin Rickard says:

" 'Cambricum Barrowii', 38-45cm (15-18in), was found at Witherslack in the south of the Lake District, in 1874 by T. Barrow. It differs from 'Cambricum Henwood' in having pinnae lamina more twisted, making the frond more three dimensional and spiky. The texture of the frond is more solid and slightly more glossy. Very rare in cultivation, with 'Cambricum Wilharris' often grown as 'Cambricum Barrowii'."
