I bought it from the members table at the AGS show, Exeter in 2016. The National Primula and Auricula society say that it is indistinguishable from 'Pritchards variety'. Barnhaven Primroses say: "Also known as 'Kesselring's Var.', this marginata form has neatly serrated leaves, and mauve pin-eyed flowers with a well defined white eye." Peninsula Primulas say: "This easy floriferous spring flowering alpine primula gives delight every year. Extremely hardy it flowers at 25cm with delicate pale purple lilac scented flowers. Good trough plant or narrow border." |
