A seed raised group with flowers that range from deep yellow through oranges shades until the they become inescapably red.
They are Cowslips in all but colour, which was introduced by careful hybridising. They reveal the alien genes occasionally
by producing rather upright flowers in the head with wide flaring corollas. My plants are not typical - I make an effort to select the deepest red colour and the smallest flowers. |
