Primula vulgaris 'Miss Indigo'

An old Barhaven double primrose that was micropropagated in the 1980's and is still with us.
Blue-purple petals (indigo with the eyes of belief) with white margins packed into well-formed rosettes. Flowers very freely.

Barnhaven Primroses say:

"This purple double primrose is an old introduction by Barnhaven that has been produced by many people over the years. Very reliable compact grower."

Heritage Perennials say:

"This variety is part of a series bred by famed Primula breeder Florence Bellis, at Barnhaven, near Portland Oregon in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. "
