A yellow flowered hybrid from the Wharfedale series bred by Alec Stubbs from Grassington in the Yorkshire Dales during the 1970s. Peninsula Primroses say: "This European hybrid alpine is a vigorous plant which is generally grown in cold greenhouse conditions. It can also be a good trough plant if protected from excessive rain (troughs should be positioned in a rain shadow). The neat mounds of foliage carry the flower stems at just 10cm tall with beautiful buttercup yellow flowers." |
