Pteris dentata 'Straminea'

One of the species of Pteris that are regularly sold as house plants. Some of them are turning out to be hardier than expected. This has prospered in a cold greenhouse, but I don't think I am going to push my luck any further.
The species grows from the south-east of Africa, through the Arabian peninsula to Iran, Turkey and the Aegean Islands. In horticulture the name 'Straminea' refers to an upright form with upwards facing, slightly "cupped" fronds. The botanical name P. straminea is simply a synonym of P. dentata.
